We had our 39 week appointment today and I am (still) 1 cm. dilated and 30% effaced. I was very frustrated hearing that since I have been 1 cm. dilated since the first time they checked me 3 weeks ago. I have had high blood pressure readings at my last 2 appointments so the Dr. decided to go ahead and induce me this week before it becomes more of a problem. Originally he was talking about sending me in to start tonight but they can't get me in until Wednesday, unless I go into labor naturally of course. It's nice to know exactly when its going to happen, now I have time to make sure everything is in order and ready for Brennan when we get to come home. I thought I would be nervous but at the moment I am just excited, I'm sure the nervousness will set in sometime before Wednesday afternoon. We will keep you posted!
