We had our second sonogram on October 6th, 2009! Kelly was of course nervous, but everything went great. The doctor was very pleased and released us to the OB. This was the first sonogram I've ever seen in real life and what an experience. I'm sure technology has come along way but I couldn't believe what you could see and hear. Baby is actually starting to look like a baby already and was probably sitting in a perfect spot for us to see. We got a perfect profile straight on picture. You can see the head and body and little arms and legs. What was really weird is you could actually see the heart beating. Doc said it was beating 173 beats per minute. Doc also said that baby is an inch long now and right on schedule for 8 weeks.
Since we've been released to the OB we have another appointment coming up soon so they can get up to date and see for themselves how everything is progessing. We'll keep you updated!!!!
